Spring into Motion 5km Road Race and 1km Kids Fun Run on Sunday April 15th 2012 at the Gellert Community centre on 8th Line, Georgetown.
Pre- registered racers can pick up race kit the morning of at the Gellert, beginning at 7:30am or the day before at Feet In Motion from 10am-5pm.
Race day registration begins at 7:30am.
Race day entree fees are $30 for the 5km Road Race and $15 for the 1km Kids fun Run. Remember all proceeds go to Canadian Tire Jumpstart.
Kids 1km Fun Run begins at 8:45 and the route stays on the Gellert paved paths. Kids get a bib number, finishing medal. The adult 5Km road run begins at 9:00 sharp.
Race will go on rain or shine…..(wish for shine!)
The 9th Annual Spring Into Motion 5Km Race will take place on Sunday April 15th 2012 at the Gellert Community Center. Contact Feet In Motion for further details. Or register online at onlineregistrations.ca

Each clinic runs for 10 weeks each Tuesday evening at 6:30pm and includes information sessions, weekly group runs, detailed run sechdule, a technical run shirt and store discount. The cost of the clinic is $70.00. There are 2 levels: beginner level which consists of a run/walk and a 10km level which will build you from a 5km distance to 10km.

Around the Bay & Marathon Clinic!

Have you always meant to run enough through the winter to be ready for the Around the Bay Road Race in late March and a Marathon in the Spring. This 18 week program will provide you with the opportunity to join in with a few other like minded runners and be ready for spring 2012. Your instructor Brad Mailloux will provide your training schedule and offer instruction on pacing, mileage, racing, nutrition, apparel and a host of details that will take much of the mystery and anxiety out of marathon preparation and racing. Clinic night will be Wednesdays with other group runs planned for Saturday mornings. Contact the store to register or ask any questions. 905-877-3201
