About Us

Feet In Motion Foot Care & Orthotics has been serving Mississauga, Hamilton and the surrounding areas since 2017. We are full service foot and ankle clinics. We offer specialized services, treatments and products centered around improving foot health. Our goal is to educate our patients with knowledge in preventative care, as well as promoting the chiropody profession.

Alia

Alia Soderman, D.Ch., B.Sc.

Alia graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. This is where she developed her interest in human biomechanics and anatomy.

Alia graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies. This is where she developed her interest in human biomechanics and anatomy. She continued her education at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences in the Chiropody program where she received her Graduate Advanced Diploma in Chiropody. During her many internships, she worked in both community health centers, hospitals and private practices in the GTA, which has allowed her to obtain a broad range of skills and competencies. She is an active member of Ontario Society of Chiropodists and Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.

In her free time, Alia enjoys running, hiking, cooking and playing with her Bernese Mountain Dog named Gus. She loves traveling and is always planning her next adventure abroad.

Selam Minassie,, D.Ch.


Selam graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in health sciences and psychology. She then went on to study Chiropody at the Michener Institute at the University Health Network in Toronto. Specializing in the management and prevention of diseases and disorders of the foot. Prior to joining Feet in Motion, she worked in community health centers and private practices, where she developed a broad range of skills and competencies. Including ingrown toenail removal, warts, corns/calluses, fungal infections, orthotics, footwear education and diabetic foot care. Selam is a registered member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario as well as an active member with the Ontario Society of Chiropodists and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking; reading, exercising and spending time with her friends and family.
Benjamin Hubers

Benjamin Hobers, D.Ch.

Benjamin graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. This is where he developed an interest in lower-limb pathomechanics and the human gait cycle.

Benjamin graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. This is where he developed an interest in lower-limb pathomechanics and the human gait cycle. He continued his education at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences in the Chiropody program where he received his Graduate Advanced Diploma in Chiropody.

During his many clinical rotations, he had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings which consisted of community health centers, hospitals, wound clinics and private practices throughout Southern Ontario.

Benjamin is a registered member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO) as well as an active member with the Ontario Society of Chiropodists (OSC) and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine (CFPM).

In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys playing sports and walking his two dogs. He is also an avid runner whose always training for his next race.

Braveenan Nirmalan

Braveenan Nirmalan, D.Ch., B.Sc.

Braveenan is a distinguished graduate of the Michener Institute’s Chiropody program, where he earned his Advanced Graduate Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody, and was also the recipient of the President’s Scholarship.

Braveenan is a distinguished graduate of the Michener Institute’s Chiropody program, where he earned his Advanced Graduate Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody, and was also the recipient of the President’s Scholarship.

Braveenan has worked in complex care with Toronto Rehab, in the Wound Care Centre at Women’s College Hospital, and worked in various private clinics throughout the GTA. His areas of expertise include diabetic foot care, surgery, and biomechanics. .

Braveenan is registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, and is a member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists (OSC), as well as the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine (CFPM). He is passionate about health and fitness, music, and making others laugh!
